Real Madrid could reportedly battle Arsenal for the signature of Espanyol midfielder Marc Roca.
The 23-year-old, who has scored twice and registered three assists in 33 appearances at club level this season, is believed to be on Arsenal's radar ahead of this summer's transfer window.
However, according to Sport, Madrid could also move for the Spaniard as they weigh up alternatives to Rennes youngster Eduardo Camavinga, who appears likely to remain in France for the 2020-21 campaign.
Roca - also thought to be interesting German champions Bayern Munich - is said to have a €40m (£36m) release clause in his current deal at the RCDE Stadium.
Espanyol could be forced to cash in for a lower price this summer, though, if they are unable to avoid relegation from Spain's top flight, where they currently sit bottom of the table.
The midfielder came through the youth system with the White and Blues before debuting in 2016.
