Arsenal have reportedly joined the race to sign AS Monaco teenager Kylian Mbappe.
The 17-year-old only signed his first professional contract in March, but it is thought that a number of European clubs, including Barcelona and Real Madrid, want to sign the France Under-19 international.
It is understood that Manchester City made a £35m bid for the forward in the summer, but Monaco were able to hold on to their prized asset, who became the club's youngest-ever scorer last season.
According to Calciomercato.it, Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger is now also closely monitoring the teenager's performances with a view to launching a bid at the end of the current season.
Mbappe is contracted to Monaco until the summer of 2019.
