Arsenal will reportedly make a fresh approach to sign Paris Saint-Germain youngster Christopher Nkunku at the end of the season.
The Gunners are believed to have approached PSG over a loan deal for the 21-year-old in January, only to be knocked back by the French giants.
According to the Evening Standard, PSG were only interested in a permanent sale at the time and that stance remains the same.
Nkunku has started 13 league matches for Thomas Tuchel's side this season, but he has just one year to run on his deal and they risk losing him on a free next summer.
The report indicates that Arsenal could therefore snap up one of their attacking targets, comfortable playing as a central midfielder, a winger or in the frontline, for a cut-price fee of £17.2m
Talks between the two clubs are said to be at a formative stage as Unai Emery is still unsure of his transfer budget.
