Arsenal have been linked with Ramires after Bahia's executive director confirmed that European clubs are interested in signing the Brazilian teenager.
The 18-year-old was previously touted as a target in November 2018 but a deal could not be agreed, while Flamengo have since emerged as a possible next destination.
According to a report carried by The Mirror, however, the Gunners are one of the sides to have approached Brazilian side Bahia over a summer transfer.
Arsenal have supposedly sent scouts to watch the right-footed central midfielder and he would jump at the chance to play in the Premier League.
Bahia chief Diego Cerri is quoted as saying: "Ramires is a boy of great potential, a bright future. We are talking with Flamengo and also with other teams.
"There is also the interest from outside the country, representatives of European club teams go to the games to observe him."
Ramires is contracted to Bahia until the end of 2022.
