Arsenal are reportedly poised to offer in-form playmaker Mesut Ozil a contract extension following his rip-roaring start to the Premier League season.
The Germany international has already set up 10 league goals - five more than in the whole of last term - as the Gunners sit level with Manchester City at the summit of the table.
The 27-year-old is contracted to the North Londoners until 2018, but manager Arsene Wenger will offer him a one-year extension shortly, according to The Mirror.
Ozil joined Arsenal for a club-record £42.5m in 2013.
