Arsenal are reportedly ready to sign Gonzalo Higuain after he turned down a new deal at Napoli.
The 27-year-old striker has spent the last two seasons with the Serie A side, but the player's agent confirmed on Tuesday that he has rejected their offer of a new contract.
Argentina international Higuain was tipped to sign for Arsenal before joining Napoli from Real Madrid in 2013.
The Gunners are thought to be in the market for a new frontman and have been linked with Real's Karim Benzema, although a deal now looks unlikely to happen, according to The Metro.
Higuain has scored 53 goals in 102 games for Napoli.
