Barcelona are reportedly eyeing a January move for Arsenal striker Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang as a replacement for Luis Suarez.
The La Liga leaders will be without Suarez until May after the Uruguay international was forced to undergo surgery on a knee injury.
Mundo Deportivo claims that new Barca boss Quique Setien is looking to strengthen his frontline and is keen on Arsenal ace Aubameyang.
Aubameyang has scored 16 times in 26 appearances for the Gunners this term and is close friends with Barcelona pair Samuel Umtiti and Ousmane Dembele, having played with them at Borussia Dortmund.
The Gabon international attempted to play down talk of a move away from the Emirates Stadium earlier this month, but rumours persist of the striker wanting a new challenge elsewhere.
The same report indicates that Barca are aware it will be difficult to strike a deal in January, however, and they have other options - such as Valencia's Rodrigo - in mind.
