A report claims that Hector Bellerin's switch from Arsenal to Serie A champions Inter Milan is edging closer.

Inter Milan are reportedly at an advanced stage in discussions to sign Hector Bellerin from Arsenal.

The Spanish full-back is widely expected to depart the Emirates Stadium this summer, despite having two years to run on his contract.

Paris Saint-Germain had been considered the favourites to sign Bellerin, but Inter recently moved to the front of the queue for the defender's signature.

According to The Express, the Serie A champions are closing in on a move for Bellerin, although they would prefer to take him on an initial loan deal.

Gunners boss Mikel Arteta is said to be happy to let the 26-year-old depart as he looks to rebuild his squad after a disappointing campaign last time out.

Bellerin has spent the past decade with Arsenal and has made 239 senior appearances for the North London side in that time.
