Arsenal have reportedly decided against holding fresh contract discussions with unsettled winger Theo Walcott.
The 23-year-old, who comes to the end of his contract in the summer, has yet to put pen to paper on new terms, which has prompted rumours of a possible exit from the Emirates.
Despite Gunners boss Arsene Wenger claiming that he wants to keep the England international, it is understood that the North London outfit have avoided trying to tie down the player by not holding talks this week, according to the Daily Star.
Walcott, who dropped out of the England squad for last night's 4-2 defeat to Sweden due to a hip problem, has revealed that he wants to play in a striker's role for the Gunners.
