Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger is reportedly eyeing a £70m summer swoop of the Bundesliga as he targets Borussia Dortmund's Mario Gotze and Robert Lewandowski and Bayer Levekusen's Lars Bender.
The Gunners boss has targeted the trio in a bid to bolster his squad to once again challenge for the Premier League title, according to The Mirror.
Wenger will have to battle top-flight rivals Manchester United and Chelsea for the £25m-rated Lewandowksi as he searches for a replacement for Robin van Persie.
Injuries to Jack Wilshere and Abou Diaby have left the Gunners short of quality in midfield on occasions this season and the Frenchman is looking to rectify that with moves for Gotze and Bender.
