Arsenal midfielder Mohamed Elneny has reportedly emerged as a January transfer target for Roma.
Elneny has spent exactly three years at the Emirates Stadium - an anniversary which he marked on social media earlier this week - and the Egypt international has made a total of 80 appearances in all competitions.
However, the 26-year-old has been linked with an exit before the end of the month, and according to Tuttomercatoweb, Roma have made a move for the player.
The Italian side are now only two points adrift of a top-four place in Serie A, but manager Eusebio Di Francesco is still keen to add fresh faces to his squad before the end of the month.
The report claims that Roma are interested in a loan deal with an option to buy during the summer, although Arsenal may demand a permanent transfer given their need to raise funds for new players.
