Southampton have reportedly made Arsenal winger Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain their number one transfer target this summer.
The 22-year-old joined the Saints setup as a youngster, spending 11 years on the south coast before moving to the Gunners in 2011 in a deal worth a reported £15m.
Manager Ronald Koeman is said to be planning "a charm offensive" this summer in order to lure Oxlade-Chamberlain back to St Mary's, including the offer of the vice-captaincy and making him their highest-paid player, according to The Mirror.
Oxlade-Chamberlain has two years remaining on his contract and although he is "happy" at the Emirates, he is keen to secure more regular first-team football to boost his England prospects.
Manchester City, West Ham United and Chelsea are also thought to have lodged an interest in his services.
