Arsenal defender Sokratis Papastathopoulos has suggested that he will not stay at the club beyond the end of his current contract.
The 30-year-old was one of five new signings made by manager Unai Emery last summer, putting pen to paper on a two-year deal keeping him at the Emirates Stadium until 2021.
Sokratis has gone on to feature regularly for the Gunners this season, making 26 appearances across all competitions, but he revealed that he is already thinking about leaving the Premier League club.
"In the summer I will be 31, I have two years of contract with Arsenal, then I would like to play in the US or in Asia," he told Kicker.
Sokratis is expected to be involved when Arsenal face Rennes in the first leg of their Europa League last-16 tie on Thursday night.
