Tottenham Hotspur have reportedly emerged as favourites to sign Real Madrid midfielder Dani Ceballos.
The 22-year-old has made just 17 starts in La Liga during the last two seasons, and it has been suggested that the playmaker does not feature in the plans of Zinedine Zidane.
Ceballos would allegedly prefer to remain at the Bernabeu, although AS are now claiming that the Spain Under-21 international is open to a temporary departure.
The report suggests that the playmaker is keen to secure regular first-team football in a bid to win a place in his nation's squad for next summer's European Championship.
Spurs have been touted as the most likely destination for Ceballos, although it is said that AC Milan are also contenders to secure a one-year loan deal.
Liverpool and Arsenal may also move for the player, who still has four years remaining on his contract.
