Tottenham Hotspur have reportedly been handed the chance to beat fierce rivals Arsenal to the signature of Inter Milan's Matias Vecino.
The 28-year-old has supposedly garnered interest from Everton as well as the North London pair in recent weeks, and Vecino will see his current deal at Inter expire in 2022.
However, according to the Daily Star, Spurs have first refusal on the Uruguay international following previous conversations over a potential move in January.
The report claims that Jose Mourinho's side had looked to bring Vecino to the Premier League as part of Christian Eriksen's move to Inter, and the Italian outfit have made contact with Spurs to gain an understanding of their interest ahead of the summer transfer window.
Vecino - who has amassed 11 goals in 94 appearances across all competitions for Inter - could be available for a fee of £18m.
