Tottenham Hotspur and Arsenal have reportedly both cooled their interest in Crystal Palace attacker Wilfried Zaha.

The 30-year-old's contract at Selhurst Park is due to expire at the end of June, meaning that, as it stands, he will be available on a free transfer at the end of the campaign.

Tottenham and Arsenal have both been heavily linked with Zaha, who has again been an important player for the Eagles during the 2022-23 season, scoring six goals and registering three assists in 20 appearances in all competitions.

However, according to Football Insider, neither North London club currently view Zaha as a priority target, with both teams looking at other players in the final third of the field.

The report claims that while the Ivory Coast international has admirers at the two clubs, he has 'slipped down' the pecking order.

Palace remain hopeful of convincing Zaha to sign a new deal, but the player is believed to be keen to move to a Champions League club at this stage of his career.

Eagles boss Patrick Vieira recently said that Zaha was "loved" at the club, telling reporters: "We know the situation and we want to keep him. He's an important player for the club and he's loved here.

"We have to wait and see what he will decide to do. What matters is the commitment he is showing in the games."

The forward has made 450 appearances for his current side during two separate spells, scoring 89 goals and contributing 76 assists in the process.

Zaha moved to Man United in 2013 but struggled to make an impression at Old Trafford, returning to Selhurst Park after featuring on just four occasions for the 20-time English champions.

The Ivorian has not scored for Palace in the Premier League since the 2-1 victory over West Ham United at the start of November.

Meanwhile, he has been absent for the team's last two matches against Man United and Brighton & Hove Albion due to a hamstring problem, and the forward will again be missing against Brentford this weekend.

"Wilfried is still a couple of weeks [away] before he can start training with the team," Vieira told reporters during his pre-match press conference on Friday.

A number of foreign clubs, including Barcelona, are said to be keeping a close eye on Zaha's contract situation at Selhurst Park.
