Paris Saint-Germain have reportedly joined the race for the signature of Leeds United attacker Crysencio Summerville.
The 22-year-old was named 2023-24 Championship Player of the Season after scoring 20 goals and registering nine assists in 46 league appearances, although he was unable to fire Leeds to promotion to the Premier League.
Indeed, the West Yorkshire outfit finished third in the Championship before losing in the playoff final, and Summerville is now facing an uncertain future at Elland Road amid the club's financial predicament.
The likes of Liverpool, Chelsea, Arsenal and Brighton & Hove Albion have all been credited with an interest in Summerville, and according to Dutch news outlet De Telegraaf, PSG have made an enquiry for the highly-rated attacker.
Furthermore, the report says that Fulham also hold a concrete interest in the Dutchman, who has two years remaining on his Leeds contract and is valued in the region of £40m.
Brighton 'step up' pursuit of Feyenoord's Wieffer
Over in the Premier League, Brighton have reportedly opened talks with the representatives of Feyenoord midfielder Mats Wieffer.
The 24-year-old has established himself as a key first-team player for Feyenoord since joining the club in 2022, chipping in with six goals and four assists in 42 games last season as the Rotterdam-based giants finished second in the Eredivisie table.
A potential reunion with Arne Slot at Liverpool has been mooted for Wieffer, but journalist Fabrizio Romano claims that Brighton have made the first move for the midfielder and have touched base with the player's agents.
New Seagulls head coach Fabian Hurzeler is said to have approved the potential signing of Wieffer, while the player himself is interested in joining the Premier League club.
Wieffer, who still has three years left on his Feyenoord contract, has also attracted interest from Serie A giants AC Milan, but they are yet to open negotiations with the midfielder's entourage.
Ipswich 'submit' bid for Greaves
Meanwhile, newly-promoted Premier League side Ipswich Town have reportedly tabled a big-money bid for Hull City defender Jacob Greaves.
Aside from a season-long loan spell at Cheltenham Town in 2019-20, Greaves has spent his entire career with Hull and has made a total of 177 appearances in all competitions, including 43 Championship outings last season as the Tigers finished seventh and narrowly missed out on the playoffs.
The 23-year-old's impressive performances are understood to have caught the eye of a number of Premier League clubs, including Tottenham Hotspur, Everton and West Ham United.
However, according to talkSPORT, Ipswich have lodged a £20m offer for Greaves, who has two years remaining on his contract at the MKM Stadium.
It remains to be seen whether Hull regard that offer as an acceptable one for Greaves, who may be persuaded to leave his boyhood club if he is guarantee assurances of regular first-team football in the English top flight. body check tags ::
