Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger has revealed that the club won't be signing Juan Mata or Jadson.
Valencia's Juan Mata had been linked with a move to the Emirates for much of the summer, although the Spanish club were adamant that the 23-year-old would stay at the club.
"We will not do [a deal for] Juan Mata. I don't have to give a reason," said Wenger.
Meanwhile, Arsenal had also been linked with a move for Shakhtar Donetsk's £10m-rated playmaker Jadson but Wenger has stated that the 27-year-old is not a target.
"We are nowhere near on Jadson. We are not talking to Shakhtar about him," said the Arsenal boss.
Wenger is expected to be able to spend nearly all of the £50m from the prospective sales of Cesc Fabregas to Barcelona and Samir Nasri to Manchester City.
