Arsene Wenger has reportedly arrived in Brazil with the intention of casting an eye over a list of potential strikers during the World Cup.
The Arsenal manager, who will be working as a pundit for a French TV station during FIFA's showpiece event, is said to be keen on Bayern Munich's Mario Mandzukic, who this week revealed that he wanted to leave the German club this summer.
A report in The Telegraph claims that Wenger wishes to sign at least one striker during the transfer window, with Karim Benzema also high on his list of targets.
Mandzukic scored 26 goals in 48 games at Bayern last season, but he will miss out on Croatia's opening game of the tournament against hosts Brazil tonight due to suspension.
