Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger has targeted Brazilian midfielder Jadson as a possible replacement for unsettled skipper Cesc Fabregas.
According to reports, a decision on the fate of the Spanish 24-year-old is imminent this morning, after Wenger said yesterday that he hoped the situation was “sorted out very quickly one way or the other".
UEFA Cup winner Jadson, 27, is reportedly being lined up for a £12m switch to the North London club from Shakhtar Donetsk.
Jadson has scored 38 goals in 162 appearances for the Ukrainian side, and made his international debut for Brazil earlier this year.
