West Bromwich Albion are believed to be in talks over a move for Arsenal's out-of-favour defender Carl Jenkinson.
The 27-year-old has been with the Gunners for eight years but has failed to ever gain any traction in the first team, making 41 Premier League appearances during that time, including just three last season.
Jenkinson had uneventful loan spells with West Ham United between 2014 and 2016 and also had a fleeting stint with Birmingham City in the Championship in 2017 before returning to Arsenal last term to see out the final year of his contract.
With just over a week remaining until Jenkinson becomes a free agent, a number of sides are thought to have expressed interest in offering him a new deal, and Sky Sports News claims that the Baggies are in pole position.
Scottish giants Celtic are also said to be interested in the player following the departure of Mikael Lustig.
