West Ham United have reportedly entered the race to sign Arsenal forward Lucas Perez.
The Hammers have been busy in the transfer market since the arrival of Manuel Pellegrini, but the Chilean remains intent on continuing to add to his first-team squad.
However, West Ham have allegedly failed in their bid to sign Yacine Brahimi from Porto, and according to Sky Sports News, that has resulted in interest in Perez.
The Spaniard has recently returned to the Gunners after a loan spell back at former club Deportivo La Coruna, and the 29-year-old is said to want to fight for his place at the Emirates Stadium.
Arsenal remain keen to cash in on the forward, however, with Sporting Lisbon, Fiorentina and Lazio all said to hold an interest in signing the attacker before the end of the month.
