Claudio Ranieri has praised the commitment of his players following AS Monaco's 3-2 victory over Reims in Ligue 1 on Friday night.
The visitors but up strong resistance against Monaco, but the hosts claimed all three points thanks to Layvin Kurzawa's goal in the final seconds of the match.
"It was very, very difficult. Reims did not deserve to lose this game. It should have been a draw," Ranieri told reporters following the result.
"The game was level for the last 15 minutes or more. I said at half-time to pay attention to them fighting back, but we conceded a goal.
"Toulalan had a great game. My players believed until the very end. I am satisfied with the commitment and selflessness of my players."
Monaco are currently in second place in the Ligue 1 table.
