Monaco defender Aymen Abdennour has expressed an interest in playing his football in Italy, according to the player's agent.
The 26-year-old only joined Monaco from Toulouse last year after an initial loan spell with the Ligue 1 club but is already said to be seeking a move.
Abdelkader Jilani, the player's agent, is quoted by the Liverpool Echo as saying: "There are no problems with [manager Leandro] Jardim or the club.
"But the truth is that Abdennour wants to leave. He wants a new adventure, and there are opportunities in Spain, Italy and England. The priority would be Serie A, he would like that a lot."
Aston Villa are among the clubs rumoured to be interested in Abdennour.
