Monaco striker Radamel Falcao has insisted that he wants to stay with the club.
The Colombian joined the Ligue 1 side in a big-money move from Atletico Madrid last summer, but injury problems saw him struggle to make an impact during his first season in France.
Despite rumours linking him with a switch to Real Madrid, Falcao is eager to remain at the Stade Louis II ahead of the new campaign.
"I believe in Monaco's project. I want to stay here and play Champions League football with Monaco," he is quoted as saying by Goal.com.
Falcao scored nine goals in 17 games during the 2013-14 campaign.
