Real Betis have reportedly sounded out Monaco over a loan move for Ivorian forward Lacina Traore, who recently joined the French outfit.
The 23-year-old only arrived at Monaco from Anzhi Makhachkala at the weekend, but it is believed that he will be allowed to leave on loan for the remainder of the season.
Premier League side West Ham United have been linked with his services, but, according to Le 10 Sports, Betis have moved to the head of the queue due to the promise of regular first-team football.
Traore, who has signed a four-and-a-half-year deal with Monaco, netted 18 times in 39 matches for Anzhi last season.
