The Football Association has charged Aston Villa and Leicester City for failing to control their players.
The two teams clashed towards the end of Saturday's Premier League encounter at the King Power Stadium, which Leicester won 1-0.
Leicester's Matty James and Villa's Ciaran Clark were both sent off for their part in the scuffle.
"It is alleged that during added time at the end of the second half, both clubs failed to ensure their players conducted themselves in an orderly fashion and/or refrained from provocative behaviour," read an FA statement.
Both clubs have until 6pm on Friday to respond to the charge.
