Aston Villa manager Steve Bruce has lavished praise upon young winger Jack Grealish following his performance in the side's 1-1 draw at Brighton & Hove Albion last night.
The 21-year-old has endured a controversial 12 months on and off the field, having been reprimanded several times by the club for his partying antics, including an incident that saw police called to a Birmingham hotel in September.
Bruce, who has played Grealish in three of his four games in charge, said that he has been impressed with what he has seen to date and intends to help him develop in the years to come.
"As soon as you watch a good player, he's got that lovely effortless swagger that good players have got," Bruce told reporters at his post-match press conference on Friday.
"I'll do my best to make sure he fulfils all of his potential.
"You can see what a good player he was. I thought he was terrific. He had a big impact."
Grealish has been with the Midlands side since the age of six and made his first-team debut in May 2013.
