Aston Villa defender Ciaran Clark has admitted that it is an "unbelievable feeling" to have made 100 appearances for the club.
Clark reached the landmark against Liverpool last weekend, and the Republic of Ireland international is hopeful that he can continue to hold down a regular first-team spot at Villa Park.
The 24-year-old told the Birmingham Mail: "I never would have thought that I'd have got there to 100.
"To reach 100 appearances is a massive honour for me and my family, and hopefully there will be many more.
"To captain the club at times and to do it at Premier League level, after doing it in the youth ranks, is an unbelievable feeling."
Clark has taken four-and-a-half years to reach three figures after making his debut in August 2009.
