Former Chelsea and West Ham United boss Avram Grant has admitted that he is flattered to be linked to Aston Villa's managerial vacancy, but has no interest in taking the job.
The 60-year-old is currently the head coach of Ghana and intends to stay there, despite being asked to join Villa by Prince William, who is a lifelong fan of the Midlands club.
"Aston Villa is a great club with great fans and it is an honour to have my name mentioned with them, but I want to continue with Ghana for the next two years until the end of my contract," Grant told Sky Sports News. "I enjoy managing Ghana very much.
"I met Prince William and he asked me, 'why don't you come to Aston Villa?'. I said, 'when you become the chairman, I will come'."
Grant become Ghana coach in November last year.
