Aston Villa manager Paul Lambert has rubbished suggestions that he has fallen out with defender Matthew Lowton.
The 24-year-old right-back has made just one start in three months for the Premier League club.
Despite rumours that Lowton has been frozen out by Lambert, the Scot insists that the youngster will be given a chance in the side soon.
"I've never had any problems with any of them, it's just a decision which I think is right," he told the Express & Star.
"I speak to him every day, and he's not far away. He is not too far away from getting back in. I'll decide next week."
Villa return to Premier League action on Sunday when they play host to champions Manchester United.
