Aston Villa manager Paul Lambert has insisted that he was satisfied with a point following his side's 0-0 draw with Sunderland.
The Scot admitted that the Premier League clash was uneventful, but found positives to draw on, such as his team's clean sheet.
"It wasn't a good game. We didn't do enough to win but we will take a point," he told Sky Sports News.
"For every negative there is a positive and we have another clean sheet. That's also the first game some of my players have played for a month.
"We can't kid the supporters but we'll probably play worse and win but the way it went we'll take a point."
The draw leaves Villa in 11th place in the Premier League table.
