Joel Ward has said that Crystal Palace deserved to beat Aston Villa in their game at Villa Park this afternoon.
The encounter finished 0-0 as neither side were able to break the deadlock, but Ward believes that it was "a good result" for the Eagles.
"Away from home that is a good result and we also created the best chance of the game with Yannick [Bolasie] hitting the bar," Ward told BBC Sport after the final whistle. "We'll take the positives.
"There are things off the pitch we can't affect but on the pitch we have conducted ourselves brilliantly and prepared professionally.
"We have two draws from the last two games but we should have had two wins."
The point wasn't enough to take Palace out of the relegation zone as they remain in 18th place.
