Andreas Weimann has conceded that he and his Aston Villa teammates will miss Christian Benteke's presence during his three-game ban.
The Belgium international was shown a straight red card in Sunday's 2-1 defeat to Tottenham Hotspur for appearing to raise his hand at Spurs midfielder Ryan Mason.
Having lost their last six Premier League games in succession, the Villans now go into key encounters with West Ham United, Southampton and Burnley without the 23-year-old striker.
"We will miss him," the Villa midfielder told The Mirror. "In the first half and start of the second he was brilliant for us. But I'm sure we have other players coming back to fill in for him.
"We can't change he got a red card. We played well and we have to look forward to the next game."
Paul Lambert's side sit 16th in the Premier League table, having not won since September.
