Aston Villa striker Christian Benteke has insisted that he does not fear the pressure of playing in important games for his club.
Villa are fighting to avoid relegation at the bottom of the Premier League table, but Benteke has revealed that he is confident of helping his side to safety.
The 22-year-old told the Express and Star: "If I was scared of pressure, I would be playing ping-pong. This is the best league in the world and it's normal that there will be pressure surrounding the games.
"We can't be satisfied to be where we are in the league but we know we can do something about this.
"We believe in ourselves, we believe in each other, the manager believes and the fans are behind us."
The Belgian international has scored 19 goals in all competitions this season.
