Aston Villa left it late to beat Mansfield Town in their pre-season friendly with the League Two side this evening.
Mansfield, who named a number of trialists in their squad, took the lead just before the break with Alex Fisher finding the back of the net for the hosts.
Paul Lambert's men could not find a response until the hour mark, when forgotten man Darren Bent put himself in the right spot to receive a pass from Alan Hutton after a surging run from the Scot.
Bent turned provider next, working the ball well with Weimann before teeing up Gary Gardner on 85 minutes.
Andreas Weimann produced a cross in added time which Bent headed home to top off an impressive performance.
