Aston Villa have reportedly distanced themselves from a loan bid for Burnley goalkeeper Joe Hart.
With Tom Heaton having been ruled out until the end of the season through injury, Villa are keen to bring in a replacement before the end of January.
Having only featured in cup competitions this season, Hart has been linked with an exit from Turf Moor, throwing up the possibility of a move to the West Midlands.
However, the Daily Mail claims that, as it stands, Villa are looking elsewhere in their search for a new stopper.
The report suggests that Burnley are still prepared to consider offers for the 32-year-old, whose contract expires at the end of the season.
