Aston Villa are reportedly planning a fresh move for Werder Bremen forward Milot Rashica.

The winger has provided five assists for Florian Kohfeldt's side this season and Rashica's current contract is due to expire next summer, potentially lowering his value in the transfer market.

Villa have been keeping an eye on the 24-year-old and did hold talks with the German club last summer, but failed to bring the Kosovo international to Villa Park as a price could not be agreed.

Football Insider reports that Dean Smith is keen to bring wide attackers to the West Midlands to fit in his preferred 4-2-3-1 formation.

Rashica is described as a versatile forward and could play on either wing for the Claret and Blues if a deal was to be agreed between Bremen and Villa.

The forward arrived at the Wohninvest-Weserstadion in 2017 and has gone on to make 95 appearances for the club, scoring 26 goals and registering 19 assists. body check tags ::
