Norwich City midfielder Emiliano Buendia has allegedly emerged as a transfer target for Aston Villa.
Having helped the Canaries secure promotion to the Premier League, Buendia has contributed four assists from his opening 12 starts in the top flight.
However, the form of the 22-year-old has seemingly led to interest from elsewhere ahead of the January window.
According to Sky Sports News, Villa may try to tempt Norwich into parting ways with the Argentine, who was signed for just £1.4m in 2018.
With just over two-and-a-half years left on his contract, Buendia will be valued highly by the East Anglian outfit, especially as they bid to avoid relegation to the Championship.
Norwich may also be against selling to a direct rival, unless Villa are prepared to pay in excess of their valuation.
