Aston Villa could reportedly miss out on the signing of 15-year-old Nigerian defender Paul Ibahadon due to issues with his international clearance.
The youngster has been on trial with the Villans and had impressed enough for the club to offer him a two-year contract.
However, All Nigeria Soccer reports that the deal has been unable to go through as his international clearance has not been processed.
Ibahadon is also reportedly wanted by a number of Championship clubs, including West Bromwich Albion, Birmingham City and Nottingham Forest.
The teenager - a centre-back who can also play in midfield - was previously in the youth academy of Italian side Atalanta BC before moving to England for family reasons in 2018.
