Real Sociedad striker Sergio Canales has reportedly rejected a move to join Aston Villa.
The 23-year-old, who signed for the Royals earlier this year, was said to have been the subject of a bid from the Premier League outfit earlier today.
However, the Daily Mail reports that any potential deal is now off and the former Real Madrid player will remain in Spain.
Villa midfielder Karim El Ahmadi re-joined former club Feyernoord earlier today for an undisclosed fee.
