Aston Villa are among the clubs interested in signing Chesterfield striker Ched Evans, according to reports.
The 27-year-old was acquitted of rape charges this week after a retrial at Cardiff Crown Court, four-and-a-half years after he was found guilty of raping a woman in a hotel room.
According to The Express, the Villans are one of a clutch of teams keeping tabs on the Welshman, who is contracted to the Spireites until the end of this season.
Premier League club Hull City and Championship outfit Cardiff City are also said to be interested in Evans, who has four goals in four League One matches for Chesterfield.
