Striker Grant Holt has revealed that he has not spoken to Aston Villa manager Paul Lambert about his future at the Premier League club.
Holt is currently on loan from Wigan Athletic until the end of the current campaign, but with Villa's top-flight status still not secure, the former Norwich City forward has insisted that no talks will take place until the summer.
The 33-year-old is quoted by the Birmingham Mail as saying: "It's not a conversation that I've had with [Lambert].
"I didn't have it last week and I won't have it this week. It's up to me, in the games left, to play the way that I am.
"I'm a Wigan player and contracted for two years and whatever happens between now and then, we'll see."
Holt has scored just once in 10 appearances during his time in the West Midlands.
