Aston Villa defender Alan Hutton is reportedly on the verge of joining Stoke City.
Tony Pulis deployed a number of individuals out of position at right-back last season, including Robert Huth and Jonathan Woodgate.
The Potters boss is looking to sign an experienced player who specialises in the position and he is in talks with Hutton over a potential £2m move, according to the Daily Mail.
Hutton, 27, made 31 Premier League appearances last season.
