Jack Grealish is reportedly set for fresh contract talks with Aston Villa after the transfer window shuts on Friday.
The English midfielder has been at the Lions since the age of six and has gone on to make 96 appearances for his boyhood club.
The 22-year-old was heavily linked with a move to Tottenham Hotspur over the summer, but a move failed to materialise after Villa's asking price was not reached.
According to the Mirror, new owners Nassef Sawiris and Wes Edens want to secure Grealish's services on a new long-term deal.
The report adds that talks will progress from Saturday, when major leagues including those in Spain and Germany cannot sign any new players.
