Pepe Reina has confirmed that he will leave Aston Villa when his loan deal expires in June.
The veteran goalkeeper has made six Premier League appearances for Dean Smith's side since arriving on loan from AC Milan, but the former Liverpool shot-stopper has hinted that his playing days may be over within the next couple of years.
Speaking during an Instagram Live session, Reina said: "After the loan spell with Aston Villa, I have to go back.
"I think it will be tough. I have 1-2 years left in my career. I think my time in football will end after next year in Milan.
"You never know in the future, but as a player I won't have a chance. As a coach, who knows."
Reina chalked up 396 appearances for Liverpool between 2005 and 2013, and will see his current deal at AC Milan expire at the end of the 2021-22 season.
