Reading are reportedly leading the race to sign Brighton & Hove Albion midfielder Liam Bridcutt.

Reading are said to be preparing a £2m bid for Brighton & Hove Albion midfielder Liam Bridcutt.

The 23-year-old started more Championship matches than any of his Seagulls teammates last season with a tally of 43.

Aston Villa and Fulham are also understood to be interested in Bridcutt, but the Royals are the favourites for his signature, according to The Sun.

Bridcutt was born in Reading but began his footballing career with Chelsea.
