Hannover forward Niclas Fullkrug has reportedly emerged as a summer transfer target for Aston Villa.
Earlier this week, Newcastle United, Leicester City and Watford were all linked with an approach for the 25-year-old, who has scored 13 goals in the Bundesliga this season.
However, according to Bild, Villa are also considering a bid for the player as the West Midlands outfit contemplate their options ahead of a possible return to the Premier League.
Fullkurg still has just over two years remaining on his contract, and Hannover would likely demand a transfer fee of at least £9m if they were to part ways with the frontman.
The interest of a number of clubs could result in a bidding war, however, leading to Hannover potentially being prepared to cash in on one of their star men.
