The agent of Athletic Bilbao striker Fernando Llorente has revealed that his client is hopeful of joining Juventus in January.
The 27-year-old was reportedly involved in a training ground bust-up with Bilbao boss Marcelo Bielsa on Monday, leading to the striker being sent home from training.
"In the summer he wanted to join Juventus but Athletic Bilbao did not want to sell him for less than his release clause," Arino Bajo told Corriere dello Sport.
"Italy in January? Why not? It is a great championship and Fernando would like to play there. Juventus are a great team, but so are Inter, AC Milan, Manchester City and so on. We will see what happens."
The Spanish international announced that he will not be extending his contract with Bilbao in the summer.
