Portuguese midfielder Tiago was part of the Atletico Madrid group that trained on Friday morning ahead of Sunday's La Liga clash with Valencia.
The 35-year-old, who missed a large chunk of last season with a fractured leg, picked up a hamstring problem in Atletico's Champions League group opener against PSV Eindhoven earlier this month.
However, the experienced midfielder has been given the all-clear and will be available for Sunday's league match with Valencia, where Atletico will look to continue their unbeaten start to the new campaign.
Tiago, who has represented Braga, Benfica, Chelsea, Lyon and Juventus during a well-travelled career, will be out of contract at the Vicente Calderon next summer.
